With more than 30 years of sales experience, acquisition specialist Huff Bhatia joined US Federal Contractor Registration ready to tackle the challenge of government contracting. He aims each day to make sure his clients have the resources and information they need to win government contracts, be that marketing programs, set-aside certifications, and/or access to solicitations. He recommends all businesses interested in government contracting make sure their information is current and valid, because failing to do that means a procurement officer or government buyer can’t even consider you for the contract. Huff earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from York University, and specializes in marketing, advertising, digital marketing, training, and helping business owners survive and thrive.
I have been a customer now for a short period of time (about a month). From my own experience, I found the company reps straight forward, no-nonsense and above all, always honest with me. Learning how to work with the government is a very complicated process, and I have found the training I've received from USFCR to be extremely helpful. So far, I have also found all in the company to be responsive and easy to reach whenever I've needed to get one-on-one with any of the firm's personnel. Yes, they charge fees (which are fully disclosed up front), but I would not expect anyone to work as a non-profit. For anyone out there thinking about trying to do this solo, I am going to suggest you are in for a very bumpy ride. As just one example, I personally spend over 30 hours just trying CAREFULLY to get registered on SAM, only to find out I still made major mistakes that were found by the USFCR rep working with me. I could go on, but I'll simply state that so far I have found USFCR's help to be invaluable.- Thomas Q
